Fuel Motor City Catering
Fuel motor city is the latest development in a long legacy of Motor City eateries. Chef Samuel Alvarado is a third generation restaurateur, following in the footsteps of his father, Sam and grandfather, Big Sam. They, along with the rest of the Alvarado family have been serving Metro Detroit its favorite Mexican food since 1963 at their Mexican Fiesta restaurants. Over three generations of hard work and hearty family recipes, Mexican Fiesta has grown from a single Dearborn Heights store front to three full service locations, the original, Mexican Fiesta Canton and Fiesta Express. The legacy continues with Chef Samuel Alvarado, who along with Big Sam, can still occasionally be found on one of the restaurants’ back lines prepping food at 4 AM. Fuel Motor city is a new vision of this tradition of hard work that has fueled the Motor City for years and will surely continue for years to come.

But Mexican fiesta is not the only Detroit original that has fueled the Motor City and is certainly not the only influence that helped to shape Fuel Motor City Foods today. All of the variety that can be found in Fuel Motor City’s menus can be found in the city of Detroit itself. Motown classics such as the New Yasmeen Bakery, Shatila Foods, Better Made Potato Chips, Dearborn Sausage Company, Faygo and Eastern Market have been fueling Detroiters and shaping their tastes for years. Fuel Motor City proudly relies on purveyors such as these to provide quality Detroit products to bring you the best the Motor City has to offer.
